Nimpkish Hotel News http://www.thenimpkishhotel.comhttps://www.thenimpkishhotel.com/modules/news.htm?rssfeed=1 Fri, 09 Jun 2023 11:18:30 +0100 FeedCreator 1.7.2 Announcing 2 pet-friendly rooms! http://www.thenimpkishhotel.comhttps://www.thenimpkishhotel.com/modules/news.htm?newsId=8524 <p dir="ltr"><span>2019-07&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p> <p dir="ltr"><span>We have been a beehive buzzing with activity since we opened for our second season this May!</span></p> <p dir="ltr"><span>Thank you to all of our guests who have chosen to stay with us and especially to our repeat guests.</span></p> <p dir="ltr"><span>In June, we welcomed back the teams from Campbell River for the June Sports Soccer Tournament and had the pleasure of company of some contractors in town to renovate the Vancity Credit Union Branch Office as well as special consultants for services offered in Alert Bay.&nbsp; We enjoy becoming familiar with your preferences and needs.</span></p> <p dir="ltr"><span>We now have </span><span>two</span><span> new rooms to offer equipped with </span><span>kitchenettes</span><span> and are </span><span>pet-friendly</span><span>!!!! </span><span>&nbsp;Being dog lovers ourselves, it has been our goal to develop these dedicated rooms.&nbsp; They are located on the lower, deck level in the garden with sunset views to the west.&nbsp; We call this level, the &lsquo;Fathoms&rsquo; in keeping with our nautical theme and the individual rooms are #8 and 9.&nbsp; One is decorated with Octopi and the other Sea Stars.</span></p> <p dir="ltr"><span>We received the help and expertise and labour from several dear friends and my brother.&nbsp; We couldn&rsquo;t have completed this project without these talented builders/workers. THANKS AGAIN, CREW!</span></p> <p dir="ltr"><span>The weather has been unseasonably dry and sunny since May, which we enjoy but know that this increases the fire risk in the beautiful forests surrounding us. Please be careful while out hiking and camping!&nbsp; Colourful flowers are in bloom and the blackberries are flowering. I enjoy watching the Rufous Hummingbirds visit our feeders.</span></p> <p dir="ltr"><span>The abundant wildlife in the area continues to mesmerize and entertain the numerous visitors who take the local tours.&nbsp;
