Check-In / Check-Out Policies

This property has the following check-in and check-out times and policies.

Property and Cancellation Policies:

Cancellation or changes

Changes to reservations must be made 14 days prior to check-in date and are contingent on room availability.

Cancellation fees are the greater of 1-night stay or 50% of the room rental (including taxes).

Cancellation with no cost is accepted BY PHONE ONLY 14 days prior to check-in date otherwise any cash deposit is forfeited and/or the authorized credit card will be charged the cancellation fee.

Terms and Conditions

Reservations

Reservations are not guaranteed until; 1. A credit card has been successfully authorized for 50% of the total amount of the room cost (including taxes) OR 2. A deposit has been received equal to 50% of the total reservation cost (including taxes).

Minimum age to rent is 19. Government Issued ID required. Minors must have a co-signer.

Payment and Terms at Check-in, Check-out

Check-in time 3 PM

The balance of the reservation cost is due at check-in.

$250 cash deposit or credit-card authorization required at check-in to cover incidentals or damage.

Government-issued Photo ID required at check-in

Check-out time is 11 AM

Late check-out requests may be accommodated if circumstances allow.

Visitors in rooms

Visitors are allowed in the rooms until 10:30 pm.

Visitors staying overnight in the room may incur an additional cost.

Guest is responsible for the actions of their visitors while the visitor is on Hotel property.

Non Smoking and Non-Vaping Hotel

The Hotel property is a smoke-free (including medical marijuana) and vape-free facility including rooms and balconies. A designated smoking area is available to guests. It is located to the right along the front of the hotel and is the only area where smoking is permitted.

Traveling with Minors/Pets

Children are welcome.

We are a pet-free hotel.

Accessibility or Special Needs

Rooms 1 & 2 are wheel-chair accessible. The balconies in these rooms are NOT wheelchair accessible.

Room 1 has a walk in shower but is not truly wheelchair accessible.

Location and Parking

The Hotel is located at 318 Fir Street. When exiting the Ferry make a right turn to follow the ocean side road (Fir Street) for 1 km and the Hotel is on the right side (ocean side) of the road.

Free guest parking is available at the Hotel.

Walking will take approximately 15 minutes and driving will take just over 2 minutes. Please remember that the speed limit everywhere in Alert Bay is 30 kpm.

Damages and Breakages

The guest is responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which they or their visitors cause to the room, its contents or any hotel property.

Use of Personal Information

We own our own data and we will not share your personal information without your express permission

Liability

We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions.

Conduct

Behavior that, at the hotel management's sole discretion, is abusive, threatening, dangerous, disturbing or objectionable to hotel staff or guests may result in the cancellation of your reservation and eviction from the hotel without compensation or refund.
